New Delhi: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited application for Mining Sirdar and Mining Overman vacancies will close today. The recruitment drive will fill a total of 177 vacancies, including 74 Mining Overman posts and 103 Mining Sirdar posts, on a fixed-term basis for three years. Interested candidates can visit the official NTPC website at https://careers.ntpc.co.in/, to apply for the posts. While applying for the posts, General/EWS/OBC (NCL) category candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 300. SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category & female candidates need not pay the registration fee.
Commencement of online registration of application: January 24, 2022
Last date for online registration of application: March 15, 2022.

Educational qualification:
Interested candidates will be required to have a Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized Institute of repute with an Overman Certificate of Competency under CMR issued by DGMS for coal.
While candidates interested to apply for the posts of Mining Sirdar should have completed class 10 with the Sirdar Certificate of competency issued by DGMS for coal and the First Aid Certificate issued by St. Johns Ambulance Association.
Age limit:
Applicants should not be more than 57 years of age.
