Inside Track: Gain Grain software is not small beer for Macha's Angela Moore – The Times
Angela Moore’s Macha Capital has thrown its weight behind former Stripe and Zalando engineer John Hannon’s Gain Grain, which develops market intelligence software for drinks companies.
Moore’s late husband George sold his marketing software company TargusInfo for $650 million (about €590 million in today’s money) in 2011. The Louth-born businessman also invested in Belleek pottery and Galway Irish Crystal. Angela Moore is understood to be heavily involved in philanthropy, although she keeps a very low profile.
I believe Hannon’s Gain Grain is targeted at fledgling drinks brands who are trying to crack overseas markets such as the US. There’s a vacuum of information and data, and Hannon’s software helps with sales, marketing and operations.
